Today Help4kidz’s volunteers & Chaplains continue the work of mentoring & ministering to children and teens all over the USA. Rev. Nunez founded the organization in loving memory of her 15-year-old son, Frankie, who died from a terminal brain tumor.
Rev. Nunez is also the Founder and President of the National Latina/Latino Commission (NLLC), which helps Latino churches partner with community organizations, local governments and faith- based organizations to better serve their communities through substance abuse recovery and prevention, affordable housing acquisition, work force investment, mentoring, and other critical functions.
