Faith-filled celebration shines in Washington, D.C.

Fifth Annual She Leads America

Gala Honors 10 Christian Women

of Distinction at the Museum

of the Bible

 Faith-filled celebration shines

in Washington D.C., despite government shutdown

WASHINGTON, D.C. — October 10, 2025 —Hundreds of Christian leaders, legislators, and guests from across the

United States and United Kingdom joined for a weekend of faith, fellowship, and honor in the nation’s capital.

Held at the Museum of the Bible, the Gala celebrated ten outstanding women whose faith-driven leadership

continues to impact government, media, education, medical, business, law, ministry, and culture.

Despite the government shutdown, the week of events proceeded with grace and excellence, thanks to the

generosity of Peggy Nienaber of Faith & Liberty, who secured alternate venues including the historic Capitol Hill Club.

The week began with a rooftop reception sponsored by Heaven to the Yeah, an organization promoting women in sports and chaired by honoree  Caltha Seymour.

Guests enjoyed chamber music, a lavish charcuterie spread, and panoramic city views. Twelve She Leads UK delegates and their husbands joined the festivities, marking a deepening bond between She Leads America and its international counterpart.

A Week of Faith and Leadership on Capitol Hill

Thursday morning began with the Women on the Hill Appreciation Breakfast, hosted by Chairwoman Congresswoman Lisa McClain, who faithfully enters each She Leads America Christian Woman of Distinction honoree into the Congressional Record.

The gathering welcomed Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, Congresswoman Dr. Virginia Foxx, and Congressman Russ Fulcher, each offering heartfelt remarks and receiving prayer.

Among the distinguished alumni present were Dr. Alveda King and Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner, who brought greetings and led intercession for America’s leaders. Afternoon activities included prayer walks and tours of significant ministries on Capitol Hill, followed by a “Women of Distinction” dinner at the Capitol Hill Club, where 150 women engaged in lively “speed meetings,” sharing testimonies and encouragement from She Leads America CWD alumni.

Friday featured a Progressive Breakfast highlighting two ministry partners, followed by the elegant Windsor Connection Tea, where guests donned fascinators and hats for an afternoon of cross-Atlantic fellowship with She Leads UK delegates. Discussions centered on the dignity of women and faith-based leadership solutions for modern-day challenges.

An Evening to Remember at the Museum of the Bible

The Gala evening at the Museum of the Bible was a Holy Spirit-filled celebration featuring music by The She Sings Choir and the Modern Messages Dance Company from Michigan. Nearly 250 guests gathered as the 2025 Christian Women of Distinction were honored alongside recipients of the Distinguished Service and Mordecai Men awards.

“The She Leads DC Gala was an unforgettable experience! Being surrounded by so many passionate, faith-filled women in a spirit of unity and celebration left my heart deeply inspired and encouraged to lead with grace and truth, no matter the challenge.” Kimberly Dirmann, Director, She Leads California.

“The presence of God was tangible,” said She Leads America Founder  Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Doyle. “Each woman honored this year reflects the beauty, courage, and faithfulness of modern-day Esthers and Deborahs—women who stand unashamed of their Savior and bring light to every sphere of influence.”

Secretary Brooke L. Rollins – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture; only the second

woman in history to serve in  this role, viewing public service as divine calling.

2025 Young Christian Woman of Distinction

Kayleigh Bush – crowned Miss North Florida in a preliminary Miss America competition, faced a defining test of faith and conviction just four weeks after her victory. When pageant officials introduced a revised contract that redefined what it means to be female, Kayleigh courageously chose truth over a tiara.

Privately appealing to leaders to uphold biological reality and biblical values, she was dismissed from the competition but remained steadfast in her convictions. Rather than compromise her faith, she surrendered her crown with grace and dignity.

In recognition of her unwavering courage and witness, She Leads America crowned her

Miss She Leads America 2025—a symbol of integrity, purity, and strength for her generation.

These women embody She Leads America’s core mission—faith-based solutions for modern challenges, the dignity of women, cultural harmony, and bringing the world back to life through Christ-centered leadership.
