October 1st, 2021
One hundred and fifty women and men joined us in Washington DC at the magnificent Museum of the Bible for the launch of She Leads America.
A beautiful buffet meal was followed by an inspirational presentation of the founding of She Leads brought by a number of the Advisory Team.
We then honored ten "Women of Distinction" from around the country for their accomplishments as Christian women. As is our custom, we wanted them to be recognized by an elected official of the United States Government.
Congresswoman Lisa McClain of Michigan honored these ten extraordinary female leaders with the She Leads America "Christian Women of Distinction" awards. She entered their names and accomplishments in the Congressional Record which states:
“These women are trailblazers who have shattered glass ceilings and touched the lives of countless people around the world. Though seldom seen or thanked, these women have been a strong and steady voice for good in this country and around the world, helping families thrive, organizations flourish, and communities connect. They have promoted goodwill across the globe through their writings, speaking and humanitarian work. Many in America and beyond have been inspired and enriched by these distinguished Christian Women.”
She Leads America feel it is of vital importance that Christian women are recognized for their valuable contribution to the well being of our families and society and as an example to the next generation.
We honored:
Kathy Branzell serves as the President of the National Day of Prayer Task Force
Shirley Dobson, as the honorary “Mom of America”

“What a lovely God-honoring event! I cannot thank you enough for the gracious invitation to your “She Leads America” Launch and for the special recognition. It wasn’t political or self-serving and never once put down men. It was simply a gathering of women who love Jesus and are living out their unique callings. Please know that I would love to attend future “She Leads America” events.”
Commissioner Jolene K. Hodder, Salvation Army
We are planning another event in Washington DC for Sept. 30, 2022.
